Here's some of the festival pictures. I waited a little while before posting so all my friends could put their photos on facebook!
90% of the time it was torrential rain, so this is why we all look soaked and not so pretty! The photo below it had been raining for the entire morning before we got into the arena. Somehow, rain doesn't seem to matter when you are going to watch your favourite bands..
The mud got worse than this.... so bad it was like being on a moving ice rink in wellies. Very hard to walk on!

Hope you enjoyed these. xox

So from 6:00AM Thursday morning to 11:00AM Monday, I was at Leeds festival!
I had so many bands I wanted to see, it was hard to see them all!

I am so in love with Bombay Bicycle Club, I enjoyed their set so much they brought tears to my eyes I was that happy. I don't think I've ever been so happy as when Jack Steadman started singing to us. He has such a beautiful voice, and he looked so happy to be there.

Muse were also amazing, I have been waiting to see them since I was 13. Not only was it the fact I am in love with Matt Belamy, but they were one of the first influential bands in my life to introduce me to a different side of music away from mainstream, so you could say along with a few others, that they got me into rock music.

Other acts I really enjoyed were Two Door Cinema Club, Pigeon Detectives,Friendly Fires, Cage the Elephant, Crystal Castles, Enter Shikari, Thirty Seconds to Mars and Spector.

Alice Glass from Crystal Castles was even more insane than I had imagined. She crowd surfed so much she fell through the middle of the crowd like a doughnut and had to be fished out from the floor picked by bouncers. She was so drunk on a huge bottle of Jack Daniels she could hardly get back up the stage stairs! She kicked this drumset about and throwing her mic down before leaving the stage completely! She's probably the definition of a rock and roll drama queen. Despite this rude departure, I did really enjoy seeing them. I listen to them daily (usually in the early hours of the morning) so it was good to finally experience what I have been listening to for so long live.

Overall, I had a fantastic time, despite it raining EVERY DAY we were there, there was some sunshine that poked out occasionally to dry our clothes. I enjoyed going out every night to watch my favourite bands, and am almost certain I will go back again next year, if not to leeds, then Glasto.

Pics from Leeds up later this week!!

I really can't wait to get my nails done properly as soon as I leave work! My weekend job is tiresome and hard on the hands, and I haven't been able to have acrylics/tips on. I would really like some half moon nails; such as these:
Dita Von Teese has been rocking them for years. They look really feminine and classic, So I either will grow them or get rounded tips s my nails are quite short!

What do you think about half moon nails?

-kirstenikita asked me:

"Where do you get your style inspiration from? I love it :))"

Thankyou Kirste,
I get inspiration from lots of things. At the moment, the 1940's and 50's have been influential eras that have changed my style dramatically within the past two years.

The woman below is Bettie Page. She was an american actress, model and burlesque dancer in the 1950's, and along with other women in the film industry at the time. Bettie kick started pin-up modelling and flaunted the classic, feminine, curvacious style. She has since become one of the greatest syle icons of the 1950's.
She is the opposing side of the new stick thin, gaunt models we see on todays catwalks. Being in fashion myself, I understand why designers use very skinny models, but as a realistic inspiration for real women, Bettie proves you can be curvy and beautiful.

Even today, 1950's starlets are still inspiring millions of women all over the world, including myself.
This is my new favourite pin-up, Morgana from http://threnodyinvelvet.com/
She reminds me of cruella deville, mixed with a 1950's twist and tiny waist.
I would love to try out some more modelling in this style. I am currently talking to a few photographers who are interested in working with me to create something similar

I love feminine clothes with a gothic twist. I use Tumblr to post everything I find inspirational. You can find my account here

Thank you for your question Kirstie!
